FREE REPAIRS*
Repair Café is a neighborhood initiative promoting repair as an alternate to tossing things out. What do you do with a chair that has a loose leg? A toaster that doesn’t work anymore? Don’t throw them away, bring them to Repair Café! Consider these options: electric appliances, clothing, jewelry, dolls, toys, bikes, watches, clocks, ceramics, wooden objects, small furniture, and mechanical items (no fuel engines). Sometimes there’s even a take apart table for the kids to try their hand at repair. * Limit 2 items per household per Repair Café date. Repairs are done by volunteer repair coaches and are not guaranteed.

Interested in volunteering? Contact Dave West at westfir50@gmail.com Repair a broken object; help someone today. Teach repair; empower them for life.

ECB Location: Downstairs Co-Working Space, Tunnel Gallery, Wood Shop, Metal Shop, and other Shops as needed. This is a non-exclusive event meaning members can be working during this event.

Parking & Directions: Electric City Barn is located at 400 Craig Street, Schenectady NY 12307. If you are familiar with Schenectady, it used to be a Boys & Girls Club, and it looks like a Catholic School. Free parking is available across the street in the parking lot or on the street. Parking lots next to ECB are for apartment tenants only and parking violators are at risk of being towed.
