I am hosting a screening event at the Electric Barn in Schenectady on Sunday, January 30th, to present my video series Distorted Black Beauty. This event is for Black girls and women to have a space to speak honestly and freely about their experiences. I hope through dialogue can we create solutions/ways to combat our issues together.  This video series is centering on the experience of Black girls and women in the 518. There will be a workshop and Q&A portion of the event. Food and drinks will be free and available to all guests.
