The Capital Region Kwanzaa Coalition is a group of community members dedicated to bringing the celebration of Kwanzaa to the Capital District of New York.

Capital Region Kwanzaa Celebration Events located at Electric City Barn as follows:

  • Collective Work & Responsibility
    • Tuesday December 28, 2021
    • 6PM-8PM
    • Local businesses & programs presenting in a fair type event.
    • Hosted by Community Fathers Inc. 
  • Purpose
    • Thursday December 30, 2021
    • 3PM-5PM
    • Live local performances and poets.
    • Hosted by Jermaine Wells (ECB Member, Hamilton Hill Arts Center Lecturer, Performer and Instructor)
  • Creativity

Masks are required at this event, regardless of your vaccination status. To enter the event, you must complete a COVID-19 Event Disclosure. If the event has more than 50 people at one time, temperature checks will be required. Social distancing is encouraged.
